DeleteWe're using the Mother of Divine Grace curriculum for kinder and although we're not enrolled (its pricey for just one kiddo and i don't need grading help/support at this age), I am loving it. Its thoroughly classical, classical with lots of literature. Next year, although not in MODG, we're planning on starting RC History: Connecting With History Volume I which is a literature based Catholic history program that goes chronologically. So Volume I is Ancient World and Bible times. very exciting!
We started in July so that I could take off all of Advent/Christmas for unit studies, and we've been moving along nicely, and are scheduled to finish right before Easter.
Oh and we enrolled in a homeschool charter school through the State b/c they give you cash each semester to spend on books (which i dont need b/c i want to keep my books) and/or extracurriculars like music lessons, PE stuff, art classes, language, etc etc.

DeleteI'm a little astonished at the way we parallel you! Boy, boy, girl. Just got out of army. Living on West coast. Using MODG, but just the syllabus, not the whole school (cuz it's pricey!). Loving The Harp and Laurel Wreath.
