Late Pregnancy Notes

Dear Little Feet,

As uncomfortable as the end of pregnancy can be - the aches, the pains, the bladder punching - I am going to miss feeling your little toesy pushing all around.  It will be so excited to see who are you are attached to, but Mama really loves the feel of your little feetys inside of me.

love,
the one who grew you

Dear Fr. Spiritual Director,

You had me at "Breastfeeding is Sacred."

Lets be BFFs for life, k?

in Christ,
your new biggest priesty fan

Dear Budget,

I hate you. You suck. Etc and so forth.  Lots of car problems and little boys who needed pajamas and winter clothes.  Next month, prepare to be p-owned.

Signed,
Big Spenders

Dear Women Who Count Days between Periods and call that NFP,

PSA: Thats not NFP.  Counting days is called the Rhythm Method.  Not that there's anything wrong with counting days/using the Rhythm Method.  But  its not NFP, so don't be pulling the "NFP doesn't work card" if little babies come along.

Just a heads up.

Dear Beautiful Weather,

I want to just wrap you up in a little ball of wonderful cool fresh love and cuddle and hold you all the year long.  Please stay forever.

love, an Autumn Girl

Ps.  tell your unwelcome 87degree buddy this weekend to hit the road, jack, we've had quite enough of that!

Dear Catholic Icing Preschool Book,

Thank you for fun ideas to teach my kids little things about their faith like the story of the Good Shepherd and the names of the 12 [faithful] Apostles.  Those craftily-challenged among the faithful owe you much thanks.

My 2 year olds sobs to sing the Apostles Song every day - its that much fun.

a frazzled Catholic Mama

Dear Little Boy learning to Tell Time,

I thought this was a good idea - important life skill, interest in numbers. But now? Your constant asking/telling me the time (aka its time to do "X")?  Means this plan has backfired.

I take back your clock reading privileges.  Its not lunch time.

Its true, comments make my day :)

Please, however, only comment if you can do so in all charity.

This doesn't mean that you have to agree with me - it means you need to disagree nicely!
