O Tannebaum : A Process

First, you get a short, fat little cutie that smells like Christmas from Trees for Troops.

Then, you string up lights and sweep up needles on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Would you believe I took this in the dark?
How does one get a good lit Christmas tree picture?

Finally, you decorate with lots of joy and rejoicing on Gaudete Sunday, while OCs eat St. Lucia Buns, drink wassail and watch you put up ornaments.

Apparently, their "civilian" uniform is all black? Who knew? :-p

Oh, what a wonderful day was today!

Definitely worthy of rose colored vestments and candles.

Happy Gaudete Sunday everyone! :)

PS. Our Jesse Tree? Filling up! :)

  4. Love the tree! We have light hanging around the living room! Poor Avery! She walked up to her grandma's tree (that has all red ornaments) and said "Apples!" and pretended to eat them!

btw - look at all those good looking guys! Did I just say that?
