Saying prayers for you today! Head-colds can't last forever. My tip du jour: vinegar and honey in hot water. It tastes almost terrible enough to make you forget you are sick...

Oh sorry about not only the head cold, but the continuing nausea as well.
ReplyDeleteI think that they should be subsidizing organic food growing. And what about these crazy programs where people get paid NOT to grow their crops so as to avaid a glut in the market. Why not grow our foods organically instead? There would be a smaller yield and also no nasty pesticides.
I actually have a problem with food subsidies in general. It made sense in a "nice" sort of way back when it was all small family farms, but giant factory farms don't NEED subsidies to keep running.
ReplyDeleteits bad economics - its cheaper and more efficient (and better for THEIR economy) to let other countries produce things like sugar or cotton - but the giant lobby machines won't let the gov't cut the subsidies. and if its bad here, the EU is WORSE worse worse - milk lakes and butter mountains is the joke about the crazy dairy subsidies over there!
