Over at the NCRegister, a dad is blogging about the hit he has out on the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny Must Die. Indeed, he must.
Definitely, worth a read :)

And then, for any Mama battling stomach bugs or other spring colds!

St. Francis Prayer (stomach virus version)
Lord,
Make me an instrument of Your healing love;
Where there is vomit let me bring Lysol;
Where there are boogers, Kleenex;
Where there is fever, Tylenol;
Where there is boredom, library books;
Where there are chills, warm blankets;
And where there is whininess, Scooby Doo.
O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek
To be well-rested as to provide clean sheets,
To be appreciated as to disinfect the house,
To be showered as to give warm baths,
For it is in scrubbing out the bathroom that we are cleansed,
It is in sharing laps that we find comfort,
And it is after resting that we will return
To a normal life.
Amen!

Oh funny - I linked to The Easter Bunny Must Die too! Great minds think alike :)
ReplyDeleteI don't really think we're telling Andrew about the Easter Bunny or Santa... I think we may tell him "Grandma believes in them so you should pretend" or something because at least my husband's mother and sister got angry when we said we weren't doing Santa... we're going to focus on Christ at the center of both days.
ReplyDeleteyea, we're pretty non-Easter bunny (i mean, it is totally ridiculous); but st. nicholas makes santa clause catholictastic so thats fine by me :)
