Mr. Cpt. PAO had a training class for the reserve at a random tiny Army Camp up near San Francisco so we all tagged along for the ride!
On our travel day, we drove straight to the San Fran City, visited the Presidio for amazing Golden Gate Photos, drove down the crookedest street in the world and drove by the Wharf (but didn't stop b/c the Papa was feeling awful with a cold).
While Mr. Cpt PAO went through class, we visited a college friend of mine and her kidlets down in San Jose, which has a lovely children's museum. So lovely, they had this statue of mama bear nursing her two cubs at the entrance! So lovely, that despite my lack of camera, the communications director snapped some for me for their facebook page, so I got pictures after all (but not the bear).
I also ran into Mission San Jose (Total: 4) which originally, I had wanted to show the little 2nd LT but he and sister were napping in the car.
