Please stop hitting with your priest.
Honey, we don't pray for the Borg. They aren't real and they're the bad guys.
Please don't imitate my gagging.
What did you never think you'd say?

Our family's journey as the Army [Reserve] goes rolling along...
Lina ~ Johnny is a very good soul. The bad guys are the ones that NEED to be prayed for, if they were real :)
ReplyDeleteLol, my husband and I just discussed the theological finer points of praying for the Borg last nite!
ReplyDeleteI was arguing that it was the scifi equivalent of praying for Satan - evil that cannot be redeemed.
however, based on the point of those who were deBorgified, i think perhaps prayers for them are not so futile.
of course, then we're back to the unreal part :)
Lex loves to imitate gagging! Coughing. Sneezing. Farting. If there's a bodily function to imitate, he will do it. Johnny is not alone. (Sorry, I just assumed we were talking about Johnny. Brian doesn't imitate your gagging, does he? Because that would just be mean.)
ReplyDeleteBTW, are you still using your Dickinson email or a different one regularly?
yes ma'am, still using it!
ReplyDeletewell, we do giggle together if Johnny has gas, but only of late has he HEARD the gagging to be imitating. lovely!
That stinks that you never made it! The only thing we've ever paid money for is the festival of lights. Rather, we would have but someone gave us free tickets because Jagger was so cute.
ReplyDeleteThe entry was only $10 for regular folks and they have amazing exhibits. They have a butterfly atrium that I visit every time. Tons of butterflies flying around everywhere that they land on you all the time! There's a vegetable garden that's so much more than that. Pomegranate trees, vineyards, sunflowers, herbs of all kinds and tons of flowers. It's huge! Lots of stuff for kids to do. And they always have some kind of festival going on though our favorite was the balloon festival. And there's a man made beach on the lake to hang out on in the warmer months. It's always clean, has lifeguards and food stands nearby.
If you make it back, you MUST go. It's very kid friendly. In fact we kept saying how grateful the parents of columbus must be!
Thank you SO MUCH for the comment you left on our blog today. We are in the middle of new parent haze and while it is amazingly wonderful it is also so challenging. After days dealing with dehydration/bili levels/weight loss those words were so reassuring for me.
ReplyDeleteBless you for being so thoughtful.
Hugs,
T
(also I see you've finally outted yourself! CONGRATS version 2.0!!!)
