We'll be home for Christmas, you can count on us!

After Christmas visiting at a local retirement home with another OCS family and a generous classmate of Mr. 2nd Lt.'s,

and then attending Vigil 4th Sunday of Advent Mass,

followed by shoving our Jesse tree full of O Antiphons and the remaining ancestors of Jesus (tonight - Hezekiah, John the Baptist and Papa Joseph) and finishing our Advent calendar early,

doing umpteen loads of "last minute" laundry,

and finally packing our car full to bursting....

we are finally on our Christmas journey to our own Bethlehem!

We ask O Key of David, to "come, and open wide our heav'nly home, [and] make safe the way that leads on high," and the way that leads home!
