She's not a chicken, or a blobby bunch of cells.She's a baby.
And she deserves choices too.
Today is a "particular day of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person cimmitted through acts of abortion, and of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life." (GIRM no 373)
Oh, Our Lady of Guadalupe, patronness of the unborn, pray for us.
Pray for our nation that has stood silently by since 1973 during this holocaust of God's most innocent and helpless of creatures.
Pray for all those sweet, sweet children and gather them safe in your loving arms to present to our Father in heaven.
Pray for those who failed to speak up and reach out to pregnant women in need of love and support.
Pray for those who perform abortion procedures and distribute abortificaient drugs - that God might change their minds and their hearts to see how precious all Life is in His Sight.
Pray for those parents who rejected their precious gift of a child because they weren't "the right kind" - a girl instead of a boy, with a "condition" instead of perfect health.
But most of all, pray for those women have both knowingly and unknowingly, through chemical contraception and the morning after pill, committed that most heinous act upon their very own child. Help them to seek His forgiveness, help them to see themselves in the Light of your Son's Cross - that He might heal their hearts, touch their minds and bring them closer to Himself through your intercession.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, have Mercy on us.
